A few colours captivate the senses
evoking the glorious shades of sun
and the lights in the dark
shimmering a marvel
over the silhouette dancing
reflecting in our eyes
reflections of the river!

Blue sky, cotton clouds
the calming green, sun so warm
adorning my soul
some days our heart grow empty
there is a sense of hollow
empty spaces are nothing to dislike
but a hope to change, to grow
letting go of the past & aches
making room for new
if you were brimming there is
no space for more or no pull for new
so if you feel empty, embrace it
it is meant to be, it makes us strong
it makes us whole!
